Heart's Rhythm
Alhycah, a girl that was born on 13th of June 2008.
I never thought I'd be doing this but anyway, hi! My name is Alhycah Christie Reyes Jaramillo. My mom calls me "Christie" but usually people call me by my first name "Alhycah." Others sometimes mispronounce my name but it's okay, there's nothing wrong with it. Back in 2008, my supposed name was Achilla but then my grandmother changed it to Alhycah then she added Christie. People sometimes joke me around because of many Hs in my name but actually, I love my name because of its uniqueness.
Pressured? Pressured."
In the early stages of my academic life during elementary school, I can say that I was pressured by my parents. I never doubted what they were telling me because I believe in them, and guess what, in class, I stood out as a very active student. My dedication and my motivation to my studies propelled me to the honor list, an achievement celebrated by all. I thrived in the academic realm, my eyes set on academic excellence, continuously striving to attain the highest levels of achievement.
"An eye opener, indeed. A big thanks to my parents!"
Back when I graduated from elementary, I was confused if should I just enjoy life and let all the certificates, medals, and awards go. Not until, my parents told me to enjoy my high school life and they will never pressure me on my studies anymore. As the sands of time carried me to junior high school, a new desire began to awaken within me. I realized that there's more to life than just chasing grades. I longed for genuine connections, laughter, an adventure that I can say I never experienced in my elementary days, and the thrill of new experiences. I never regretted what I've decided for my life, for me to enjoy and still take a look to my academic life. I remained resolute in my pursuit of academic brilliance. I sought to find a middle ground, a place where I could enjoy the essence of life while still excelling academically. The honor list was no longer just a goal; it became a symbol of my dedication and a reminder of my potential.
"It will only happen once, don't forget to enjoy life."
My life revolves around where I can flourish academically and find contentment in the simple pleasures that life bestows upon me. It's a reminder that we can carve our destiny by creating harmony between our aspirations and our intrinsic desire for happiness and fulfillment.
"It is golden, like daylight''
