Even before and still now that I am graduating from junior high school, they often ask “What will you take in college?” Before, that was one of the easy questions I could answer right away but now that I’ve learned and explored new things, that question is one of the hardest ones to answer. After lying down on my bed, I started to wonder and ask myself, “What am I doing a decade from now? am I treating the patients that have different diseases in the hospital or still studying?”   I see myself treating the patients. I see myself being in front of thick books, trying to memorize the different terms needed and also their meanings until dawn. after being content with what I already have in mind, I’ll sleep for hours and wake up to go to school. Going back, I dreamed of being one of the doctors who would treat everyone. I believe in the saying “There is a Woman behind every Man’s success.” Mothers are the ones who brought us in this world. They are the ones who lighten our home and the heart of every family member. They are the ones who can fight any beasts in our lives without us being in danger as if they have magical powers. Mothers are the ones who serve as a bridge towards a wonderful future. Their role is tough, but they stand as if there were no burdens behind their backs. Now I wonder, how can they do all of those? Even before, my mother was the one I looked up to. I remember being asked, “What do you want to become in the future and why?” I always answered, “I have nothing in mind but to become a doctor someday. Why? Because I want to follow in the footsteps of my mother.” She is the person I would run to when life’s getting tough and uneasy.
