Long Way Down

survived? survived!

Here I am today, writing a conclusion on how my second quarter as a student went by. The start of the second quarter feels like yesterday, I never thought it would end that fast. Like the first quarter, this second quarter was also full of new experiences, each day, there were obstacles yet, I managed to overcome those. With the challenges, I learned something new, and for sure it can help me in the future. I may not check all the boxes, but still, I know to myself that I have gained new knowledge.

In our Information and Communication Technology class under Mrs. Vera Cruz, I learned a lot. I remember those moments when Ma’am Eve would ask us to apply the tags and attributes on the Notepad, and then observe what would happen. I was so amazed to the point that I would leave the room with a smile on my face, knowing that I learned and enjoyed the lessons at the same time. There was also a time when I couldn’t make the different tags work but, Ma’am Eve was there to rescue me, She just checked my work, and after multiple seconds she would point out the mistake, and voila it would work!

I have gone through a lot. There were times that I couldn't even enjoy eating because of the requirements and such, and there were mornings that I would go to school barely living. Sometimes, I would just wonder and ask myself, “How did you survive all of those?" As Park Jongseong of Enhypen said, “It’s about proving myself over and over again, endlessly proving myself.” That is my goal to prove to myself that despite all the difficulties, I learn and enjoy things at the same time. To stand like there was nothing I was carrying on my back.

Overall, It was a wonderful ride and I am grateful that I have surpassed this second quarter. I have hope for my bright future and just like an orange flower, I will always do anything for it and have no regrets. "If we go down, we go down together." As I close this second quarter chapter of my Grade 10 journey, I just want to thank Kyla, Marie, Adoc, Zah, Xian, and Oien. You guys were the ones who somewhat reduced my burdens this quarter. You made me feel safe despite the chaos around. I know and I will not deny that without your help, I wouldn’t have survived this quarter. Of course how can I forget the Maxwellians, who have their own ways of shining, I am looking forward to sharing more laughter and moments with you. Let's just shout and make it more better!
