February 14. On this day, everywhere is filled with flowers, balloons, hearts, chocolates, gifts, and other more. It is the time when many people would gift a token to their loved ones. On the contrary, Valentine’s Day isn’t only for gifts or any material things. It's about strengthening your bonds with the people you truly love and cherish.
Sadly, I wasn't able to attend my class last Valentine's Day. Because of that, I never got the chance to share lunch with Maxwell because I wasn't feeling well. But, this year, my family made it memorable. At night, the table was filled with delicious food made by my dad and of course with a cake in the center. We focus entirely on each family member, demonstrating our affection and gratitude. Through these gestures, which vary from simple acts of kindness to heartfelt expressions of love, we reinforce our family connections and forge enduring memories to hold dear for years to come.
Furthermore, as an extension of my Valentine's Day, February 19 was filled with surprises. My friends gave me a bouquet of chocolates and a K-pop album. It was such a moment, and I would like to treasure it forever.
In conclusion, Valentine’s Day is a special day to show love for the person we treasure the most. Let's cherish those we love, make memories, and spread happiness.
