I believe in the saying “There is a Woman behind every Man’s success.” Mothers are the ones who brought us in this world. They are the ones who lighten our home and the heart of every family member. They are the ones who can fight any beasts in our lives without us being in danger as if they have magical powers. Mothers are the ones who serve as a bridge towards a wonderful future. Their role is tough, but they stand as if there were no burdens behind their backs. Now I wonder, how can they do all of those?

Even before, my mother was the one I looked up to. I remember being asked, “What do you want to become in the future and why?” I always answered, “I have nothing in mind but to become a doctor someday. Why? Because I want to follow in the footsteps of my mother.” She is the person I would run to when life’s getting tough and uneasy. My mother is my best friend to whom I can tell everything whether it may be rants, teas, and more. It is her who’s always supporting me and is always behind my back. My life with my mother has never been boring. In fact, it is always extraordinary just like her. 

With everything that my mother has done for me, she deserves appreciation. Even though it is not mother’s day, I show my appreciation for her by making her feel love, making her happy, and asking how her day went. I know it is simple to do and ask these things but for me, it is the most genuine way. When she’s home with us, giving her gifts and letters is my way of showing appreciation. 

Without these women, whom we call “Mom,” we are nothing. We are not here to be able to achieve our goals and aspirations if not because of them. Remember that we always belong to them. As an appreciation, let’s not forget to thank them and love them without any reservations.
